Locate one or more violations among all violation forms or an individual form.
On a single violation form
- Click on the “Forms” tab on the vertical Dashboard menu at the left side of the screen.
- Click on the “Violations” tab.
- In the “VIOLATIONS” window that opens, locate the applicable violation form in the list.
- Open the “ACTIONS” column’s three-dots menu and choose “View Violations.”
- In the “VIOLATION STATUS” window that opens, click on the “Pending” tab to review newly filed tickets that have not been evaluated. Click on the “Open” tab to review tickets that have been classified and are in progress. Click on the “Closed” tab to review tickets that have been resolved.
- Leave the “Search Assigned Member or Household” dropdown menu set to the default to enter a person’s name or a household title as your search criterion. Open the menu and choose “Search by Ticket ID” to search by the identification number of the violations ticket instead.
- Type your search criteria into the “Search Violations” box. To search for part of a name, title, or ticket number, enter only a few letters or numbers into the search field.
- To search by combinations of criteria, repeat your search for each criterion in succession. Each of your searches appears in a separate gray result box below the search field, and the violations list changes to display only those records that match all your search criteria.
- To filter the result list further by violation status, set the “Filter by Status” dropdown menu to Disputed, In Progress, In Violation, Pending, Closed, Completed, Dismissed, or Resolved.
- To filter the result list further by violation type, set the “Filter by Type” dropdown menu to a specific category. These categories include the following:
- Exterior Decor
- Exterior Storage
- Fence
- Garbage
- Holiday Decorations
- Landscaping
- Lighting
- Mailbox
- Noise
- Pets
- Unapproved Updates
- Undisclosed Rentals
- Vehicles and Parking
- Other
- Click on the “Search” button or press “Enter”/”Return” to do your search. The search you requested appears in a gray result box below the search field, and the Member list changes to display only those records that match your search criteria.
- To switch to viewing and searching the violations associated with a different form, set the Form Selector dropdown menu above the search boxes to the name of another form.
- To clear all your search criteria at the same time, click on the “Clear” button. To clear an individual search criterion, click on the “X” at the right end of its gray result box. To clear either or both of the “Filter” dropdown menus, set them to “All.”
- To sort your search results by one of the categories of information in the violations list, click on a column name or the pair of arrows to the right of the name. By default, the records sort in ascending order. To change the sort to descending order, click on the pair of arrows again. Each time you click on the arrows, the sort order changes. You can identify the sort order by which of a pair of arrows is dark gray. When the information sorts in ascending order, the arrow pointing up is dark, and vice versa. On unsorted columns, both arrows appear in light gray.
Among all violation forms
