Remove a message altogether from a conversation.
- Log in to the Member-facing view of your website directly from the site itself, or click on the “Public Site” tab on the vertical Dashboard menu at the left side of the screen to switch to the public website from the behind-the-scenes Dashboard view.
- In the menu bar under the name of your organization, click on the Messaging icon (pair of speech balloons).
- The “Messaging” overlay window that opens on the right side of your screen lists all the conversations in which you’re a participant.
- Click on the box that contains information about an individual conversation to view details about it and the messages in it.
- Click on the three-dots control at the top right corner of the box that contains an individual message within the conversation to open the “Action” menu.
- Click on the “remove message” item in the Actions menu.
- In the “Remove Message?” window that appears, click on the “Remove” button to remove the message.
- To exit the process without removing the message from the conversation, click on the “Cancel” button in the “Remove Message” window, press the “Esc” key, or click on the “X” in the top right corner of the “Remove Message” window.
- To return to the full list of your conversations, click on the “view all messages” link.
