Edit Household Data

Review information for an individual Household and make changes to it.

  1. Click on the “Households” tab on the vertical Dashboard menu at the left side of the screen.
  2. Click on the “Households” tab.
  3. In the “HOUSEHOLDS” window that opens, scroll through the Household list till you find the row that contains the entry you want. If your list covers more than one page, click on the right arrow to move to a later page, the left arrow for an earlier page, or a page number to go directly to that page.
  4. Click on the Edit icon (blue pencil) in the “ACTIONS” column of the row that contains the record you want to edit.
  5. In the “EDIT HOUSEHOLD” window that opens, you’ll see individual boxed sections for specific types of information.
    • The “Title” is a unique identifier that applies to an individual Household. Create a pattern based on some combination of distinctive information, such as the lot number plus the street address.
    • Choose the “Household Access Type” from the dropdown menu that lists the five essential Household types (Owner, Renter, Contractors, Prop Manager, Other).
    • Select the “Address” from the dropdown menu. The entries in this dropdown menu come from the data you add through the “Addresses” tab. To learn how to set up Addresses, see the “Addresses” item in the “Households” section of these instructions.
    • The “Household Members” come from a dropdown menu that lists the members of your community.
  6. When you are happy with your Household entry, click on the “View Summary” button to review it. If the information is correct, click on the “Save Household” button to complete the process of adding it.
    • To revise the information, click on the “Back” button to return to the “ADD NEW HOUSEHOLD” window.
    • To exit the process without creating a “Household” item, click on the “Cancel” button, press the “Esc” key, or click on the “X” in the top right corner of the window.
