Deactivate a Member

If a Member no longer qualifies to participate in your organization, deactivate that individual’s Member record from your website.

  1. Click on the “Membership” tab on the vertical Dashboard menu at the left side of the screen.
  2. Click on the “Members” tab.
  3. Scroll through the Membership list until you find the row that contains the Member’s entry, and click on the “Deactivate” icon (a red head-and-shoulders outline of a person with a diagonal line through it) at the right end of the row. In the “DEACTIVATE MEMBER” window that opens, click on the “Deactivate” button to deactivate the Member’s record and return to the “MEMBERS” screen. If you opened the “DEACTIVATE MEMBER” window by mistake, click on the “Cancel” button, press the “Esc” key, or click on the “X” in the top right corner of the window. To view active and inactive Members together on the “Members” screen, activate the “Show Inactive” toggle switch at the top right, immediately below the “Members Actions” button.
