Create a Calendar Entry

Create a calendar entry to add simple non-recurring events to your organization’s calendar.

  1. Click on the “Features” tab on the vertical Dashboard menu at the left side of the screen.
  2. Click on the “Calendars” tab.
  3. In the “CALENDARS” window that opens, locate the desired calendar name in the list. In the “ACTIONS” column, click on the three-dots menu to open it and choose “View Calendar.”
  4. Click on the “+Add New Calendar Entry” button at the top right.
  5. In the “ADD CALENDAR ENTRY” window that opens, type a name into the “Entry Name” box.
  6. Type an optional description of the calendar entry in the “Description” box.
  7. Click in the “Date” box to reveal a calendar from which to select the date of the entry. By default, the calendar displays the current month.
    • To change the month, click on the forward arrow at the top right corner of the calendar window. Once you have advanced the calendar beyond the current month, use the back arrow that appears at the top left corner of the window to return to a previous month.
    • Click on a date to select it. Click on the “Set” link at the top of the calendar window to close the calendar and return to the “ADD CALENDAR ENTRY” window.
  8. Activate the “All-day” toggle switch if your entry covers an entire day.
  9. To set a specific time for your calendar entry, click on the “Start Time” box to reveal a time picker. By default, the time picker displays “12:00 AM.” Click and drag the hour, minute, and AM/PM selectors up or down to choose the start time of the calendar entry.
    • Click on the “End” area at the top of the calendar window to set the end of the calendar entry time period. Click and drag the hour, minute, and AM/PM selectors up or down to chose the end time. Click on the “Set” link at the top of the calendar window to confirm your time-period selection.
  10. To make your calendar entry recur, activate the “Recurring” toggle switch. Set the “Frequency” dropdown menu to “Daily,” “Weekly,” “Monthly,” or “Yearly.” If the entry recurs on a specific day (for example, the third Thursday of each month) rather than on a specific date, select the first, second, third, or last instance of the day on which the first instance occurs. In the “Interval” box, enter the number of days, weeks, months, or years between instances of this event.
    • To set an end date for recurrences of this calendar entry, click in the “Recurring End Date” box to reveal a calendar from which to select the end date.
  11. When you are happy with your entry setup, click on the “Save Entry” button.
    • To exit the process without saving the entry, click on the “Cancel” button, press the “Esc” key, or click on the “X” in the top right corner of the window.
