As an Admin, you can block individual Members from posting to the Newsfeed. Note that the act of blocking Members from the Newsfeed does not remove their existing posts, which you either must remove or edit individually.
- Click on the “Public Site” tab on the vertical Dashboard menu at the left side of the screen to switch to the public website from the behind-the-scenes Dashboard view.
- In the public site, click on the “Newsfeed” item in the menu bar under the name of your organization. Depending on how your site is set up, the “Newsfeed” item may appear in a dropdown menu.
- In the “Newsfeed” window that opens, existing Newsfeed posts appear, starting with the most current.
- Locate a post written by the Member you want to ban.
- Click on the three-dots control at the top right corner of a Newsfeed post to open the Actions menu.
- Click on the “ban user posts” item in the menu.
- In the “Ban User?” window that appears, click on the “Ban” button to remove the user’s Newsfeed posting privileges.
- To exit the process without banning the Member from the Newsfeed, click on the “Cancel” button, press the “Esc” key, or click on the “X” in the top right corner of the window.
