Edit a calendar to change its name or its settings. (For instructions on how to create, edit, delete, or search for calendar entries, see the “Create a Calendar Entry,” “Edit a Calendar Entry,” “Delete a Calendar Entry,” and “Search for a Calendar Entry” sections of these instructions. For complete instructions on how to create new member events, see the “Events” section of these instructions.)
- Click on the “Features” tab on the vertical Dashboard menu at the left side of the screen.
- Click on the “Calendars” tab.
- In the “CALENDARS” window that opens, locate the desired calendar name in the list. In the “ACTIONS” column, click on the three-dots menu to open it and choose “Edit Calendar.”
- In the “EDIT CALENDAR” window that opens, click in the “Calendar Name” box and edit or replace the name.
- Use the “Permissions” radio buttons to set access to and visibility of the calendar. Choose “Public” to enable anyone who visits your website to view the calendar. Choose “Members” to make the calendar visible only to logged-in members.
- Activate the “Appear on Upcoming Events?” checkbox to determine whether entries from this calendar appear on the “Upcoming Events” widget on the Home page of your website.
- Activate the “Include Events” checkbox to add member events that you create through the Events feature of your website. (For complete instructions on how to create new member events, see the “Events” section of these instructions.)
- When you are happy with your calendar setup, click on the “Save Calendar” button.
- To exit the process without revising the calendar, click on the “Cancel” button, press the “Esc” key, or click on the “X” in the top right corner of the window.
