Style Controls for the Text Editor in Widgets (Site Setup), E-blasts, and More

The text editor you see when you edit a text-based widget in Site Setup or create an e-blast in Message Filtered Members provides a rich set of controls in a toolbar located above the editing window. Some of the tools available to edit text-based widgets are not included in the toolbar in Message Filtered Members. See below for a listing of each of these sets of tools.

NOTE: Items listed in bold are available when you edit text-based widgets but not when you create e-blasts in Message Filtered Members.

  1. Open your website’s document repository in a new browser tab so you can copy the link to an uploaded document and use it as a link (see 12) in your text. NOTE: Close the newly tab and return to the “Edit Text” window to apply the link, or you will lose any edits you have made in the text window.
