Reply to a Post

As an Admin, you have the ability to reply to Newsfeed posts. Members only can reply if they are not blocked from the Newsfeed.

  1. Click on the “Public Site” tab on the vertical Dashboard menu at the left side of the screen to switch to the public website from the behind-the-scenes Dashboard view.
  2. In the public site, click on the “Newsfeed” item in the menu bar under the name of your organization. Depending on how your site is set up, the “Newsfeed” item may appear in a dropdown menu.
  3. In the “Newsfeed” window that opens, existing Newsfeed posts appear, starting with the most current.
  4. Locate the post to which you want to reply and click on the “Reply” icon (speech balloon with the existing number of replies to the right of it) at the bottom right corner of the post.
  5. In the reply box that appears below the original post, type or paste your comments. To add an emoji to your reply, click on the Emoji icon at the far right end of the reply box and select an emoji from the menu that appears. If you decide not to add an emoji, click outside the emoji window or press the “Esc” key to close the emoji menu.
  6. Click on the “Post” button to post your reply.
