Violations require review, classification, discussion, and followup communications to progress from initial reports to resolution, regardless of whether they are upheld or dismissed.
Reach a violation from a specific violations form
Reach a violation from a single violation form
- Click on the “Forms” tab on the vertical Dashboard menu at the left side of the screen.
- Click on the “Violations” tab.
- In the “VIOLATIONS” window that opens, locate the applicable violation form in the list.
- Open the “ACTIONS” column’s three-dots menu and choose “View Violations.”
Reach a violation from the list of all violations forms
- Click on the “Forms” tab on the vertical Dashboard menu at the left side of the screen.
- Click on the “Violations” tab.
- In the “VIOLATIONS” window that opens, click on the “View All Violations” button.
- In the “VIOLATION STATUS” window that opens, click on the “Pending” tab to review newly filed tickets that have not been evaluated. Click on the “Open” tab to review tickets that have been classified and are in progress. Click on the “Closed” tab to review tickets that have been resolved.
- Locate the ticket you wish to review.
- In the Actions column, click on the three-dots menu and choose “View Violation.”
Pending Violations
Review a pending violation submission
Reach a violation from a single violation form

Pending Violations
Review a pending violation submission
Pending violations have not yet been assigned to an individual resident, a property address, a common area or other community location, or any other possibility. Begin with a full review of the Submission itself. Click on the “Submission” tab to see the information that the person who reported this matter submitted on the violation form.
- At the top left, the individual categories of information on the Submission tab represent the data fields on the Violation form itself.
- Below the “Violation Details”, the “Attachments” area provides the names of and links to any files that the claimant uploaded in support of the original violation claim. Click on the download arrow to obtain a copy of any file(s) for further review.
Assign a pending violation
Pending violation submissions must be assigned before they can move on from their initial status.
- In the “VIOLATIONS REVIEW” window, click on the “Edit” icon (pencil) on the “Violation Details” tab or the “Assign” button at the bottom of the “Violation Details” tab.
- In the “VIOLATION DETAILS” window that opens, enter the information about the violation report.

Comment on a pending violation
At the top right of the “VIOLATIONS REVIEW” window, the “VIOLATION COMMENTS” area shows any comments made since the original violation submission.
- Enter your comments in the box below your name.
- To add one or more files to your comment, click on the “include attachments” link to select these documents.
- To make your comment visible only to other Admins, activate the “Admin Only Comment” checkbox.
- Click on the “Add Comment” button to post your comment.
Classify a pending violation
- After you have reviewed the submission details in the “VIOLATIONS REVIEW” window, set the “Violation Status” dropdown menu to one of the following status categories.
- Disputed
- In progress
- In violation
- Closed
- Completed
- Dismissed
- Resolved
- Click on the “Update Status” button to apply the status category.
- Note that all violations assigned to the first three categories will appear on the “VIOLATION STATUS” window’s “Open” tab. The last four categories appear on the “Closed” tab.
Open Violations
Review an open violation
