If your amenity carries a damage fee that you can charge if a resident leaves the facility in poor condition, resolve the fee after a reservation ends so you either charge the resident or waive the fee.
- Click on the “Features” tab on the vertical Dashboard menu at the left side of the screen.
- Click on the “Amenities” tab.
- Locate the amenity in the list. In the “Actions” column, open the three-dots menu and choose “View Amenity.”
- In the window that opens, click on the “Damage Fees” tab below the name of the window. This tab lists past reservations for which you must decide to charge or waive the fee as appropriate. Note that a reservation shows up on the “Damage Fees” tab on the day after the reservation is complete.
- Once you have reviewed the post-reservation condition of the amenity, click on the “Resolve Damage Fee” button to charge or waive the fee.
- In the “RESOLVE DAMAGE FEE” window that opens, set the radio buttons to “Do not charge a Damage Fee” if the resident took appropriate care of the facility, or “Charge Damage Fee” if the condition of the facility warrants this step.
- Enter notes in the “Comments” box to provide details of the reason for your decision to charge or waive the fee.
- Click on the “Resolve Damage Fee” button to complete the damage-fee process.
- To exit the “RESOLVE DAMAGE FEE” window and return to the amenity window without assessing or waiving the fee, click on the “Cancel” button or the “X” in the top right corner of the window, or press the “Esc” key.
