Edit Household Types

Change the Household settings that govern roles and responsibilities for invoices and voting.

  1. Click on the “Households” tab on the vertical Dashboard menu at the left side of the screen.
  2. Click on the “Households” tab.
  3. In the “HOUSEHOLDS” window that opens, click on the “Households Actions” button and choose “Edit Types.”
  4. In the “HOUSEHOLDS SETUP” window that opens, change the settings for individual roles.
  5. Activate the “Allow Dues” checkbox to enable a role to receive invoicing for dues and fees.
  6. Activate the “Allow Voting” checkbox to enable a role to participate in voting and surveys.
    • Each of the five roles (Owner, Renter, Contractors, Prop Manager, Other) can be authorized to receive dues invoices and vote on community issues.
    • Any individual role can be authorized for either, both, or neither of these activities.
  7. When you are happy with your setup, click on the “Save” button.
    • To exit the process without creating a “Dues & Fees” item, click on the “Cancel” button, press the “Esc” key, or click on the “X” in the top right corner of the window.
