Change the Household settings that govern roles and responsibilities for invoices and voting.
- Click on the “Households” tab on the vertical Dashboard menu at the left side of the screen.
- Click on the “Households” tab.
- In the “HOUSEHOLDS” window that opens, click on the “Households Actions” button and choose “Edit Types.”
- In the “HOUSEHOLDS SETUP” window that opens, change the settings for individual roles.
- Activate the “Allow Dues” checkbox to enable a role to receive invoicing for dues and fees.
- Activate the “Allow Voting” checkbox to enable a role to participate in voting and surveys.
- Each of the five roles (Owner, Renter, Contractors, Prop Manager, Other) can be authorized to receive dues invoices and vote on community issues.
- Any individual role can be authorized for either, both, or neither of these activities.
- When you are happy with your setup, click on the “Save” button.
- To exit the process without creating a “Dues & Fees” item, click on the “Cancel” button, press the “Esc” key, or click on the “X” in the top right corner of the window.
