Deactivate an Address

Leave an Address listed in your records, but remove it from the active list.

  1. Click on the “Households” tab on the vertical Dashboard menu at the left side of the screen.
  2. Click on the “Addresses” tab.
  3. In the “ADDRESSES” window that opens, scroll through the Address list till you find the row that contains the entry you want. If your list covers more than one page, click on the right arrow to move to a later page, the left arrow for an earlier page, or a page number to go directly to that page.
  4. Click on the Deactivate icon (blue box with an “X” inside it) in the “Actions” column of the row that contains the record you want to deactivate.
  5. In the “DEACTIVATE ADDRESS?” window that opens, click on the “Deactivate” button to remove the Address from the active roster.
    • If you deactivate an address with households associated with it, you remove those households as well.
    • To close the “DEACTIVATE ADDRESS?” window without making any changes, click on the “Close” button, press the “Esc” key, or click on the “X” in the top right corner of the window.
    • To view inactive Addresses after you deactivate them, click on the “Show Inactive” toggle switch to the right of the Search field.
